Edward R. Grossman, DMD. FAGD
Dr. Grossman’s passion is outstanding dentistry. A native of the Philadelphia area, Dr. Grossman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. In 1996, he established Lionville Family Dentistry, and has provided quality dental care to residents of Exton, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas ever since. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a designation conferred upon dentists who have completed continuing education courses well beyond what is required to maintain dental practice privileges in Pennsylvania.
Additionally, Dr. Grossman volunteers regularly “in our own backyard.” For 17 years he has provided dental care to an underserved population of patients through Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) in West Chester and Avon Grove, Pennsylvania. These clinics serve Chester County residents who would otherwise have no access to dental care.
Dr. Grossman has received a number of awards, including a nomination in the Consumers Research Council’s Guide to America’s Top Dentists, which is a non-profit agency that accepts no sponsorships or contributions in order to ensure unbiased selections. He is also a member of many professional organizations, including:

- The Pennsylvania Dental Association
- Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry
- The Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry
- The Chester-Delaware County Dental Society
Dr. Grossman currently lives in West Chester with his wife, Shelly, their two children, Ben and Liddy, and pets, Tilly (Old English Sheepdog), Maya and Monty (cats).

Jessica – Dental Hygienist
Jessica has been with our team for seven years. She is diligent in making sur our patients feel comfortable with their dental procedures and that they have the knowledge and information they need to understand their oral health and make decisions regarding their treatments. Her loves the relationships she has developed with our patients and their families over the years.
Jessica attended the University of Pittsburgh for her education. She has three daughters and a yellow lab. Outside the office, she loves to travel whenever possible and enjoys spending time with her family.
Laura – Dental Hygienist
Laura joined our team in 2017. She enjoys engaging her patients by educating them on the latest findings in dentistry and home care, and by explaining procedures further to clarify their questions and address any concerns they may have. Laura enjoys the positive atmosphere of our office, and appreciates that Dr. Grossman takes the time to explain procedures to patients so that they leave feeling respected and happy.
Laura graduated magna cum laude from the Montgomery Colorado Community College Dental Hygiene Program with an Associate in Science degree. She served as class president and was a member of the honor society. Laura is a classically trained flutist, and taught the flute while in school. She currently sings and play guitar in a rock band.

Sara – Dental Assistant
Sara has been with our team for three years. She works hard to make sure that our patients feel that they can trust us, and that we will do the best we can for them. Sara loves seeing out patients smile, and misses seeing them in between visits. One of the reasons Sara enjoys working at Lionville Family Dentistry is our amazing team. Dr. Grossman is a great person to work with, and genuinely cares for his patients and his staff, and her co-workers are like her sisters. Sara states that “They care for each person that comes to the door and are very personal with all our patients.”
Sara is the mother of three teenagers who she loves more than anything. She loves to cook, crochet, and walk or hike with friends.
