Community Volunteers in Medicine
Dr. Grossman volunteers regularly “in our own backyard.” For 17 years he has provided dental care to an underserved population of patients through Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) in West Chester and Avon Grove, Pennsylvania. These clinics serve Chester County residents who would otherwise have no access to dental care.
Service in Jamaica
For 10 consecutive years each November, we pack and ship our own supplies and equipment, and close our practice in order that ALL in our office can travel to rural areas of Jamaica for 1 ½ weeks to serve people who, in many cases have, never seen a dentist before. We team up with both American and international dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff members to set up clinics in remote locations throughout Jamaica in order to recreate smiles, alleviate pain and prevent/eliminate dental disease. We contribute all proceeds from our tooth whitening services to supplement our travel costs.
